Stephen Taurog is a newly self-published independent author. Stephen has served over 10 years in the National Guard, including two overseas deployments, one to Afghanistan, and one to Africa, and additionally a recent activation for the COVID pandemic. Stephen’s current fiction focuses on military fiction. “One thing I think that, a lot of military fiction is generally lacking, is a faithful representation of the amount of time and effort in planning, equipping, and supplying an operation or mission. And that’s something that I try to bring out in my work, that it takes a lot of effort to plan, and execute a mission. And also, that things go wrong, and the troops on the ground have to adapt, and of course, the enemy always gets a vote too.”
Stephen is currently working on a master’s degree, and lives and works in northeast Texas.
